Antique Victorian Walnut Davenport Desk

160 years old

An elegant antique Victorian walnut Davenport desk. The antique desk has a sloped leather writing surface, which opens to reveal a neat interior. The top also has a hidden hinged compartment which opens to reveal storage compartments.

To the right-hand side of the desk there a series of drawers each with a pair of wooden k***s, with a set of dummy drawers to the opposite side. The antique Davenport desk has decorative carved front corbels and is raised on four castors.

Height: 78 cm
Width: 54 cm
Depth: 52 cm

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and losses to the veneer.

However, this does not detract from the overall appeal of the piece.

The antique walnut Davenport desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well.

Overall, a good example of its kind.
