Chiamaka, how do I become like you or any other guru beader out there? This and related questions I get from either existing beaders or aspiring ones.

Oya, listen to this! Rome is not built in a day. You cannot just wake up one day and call yourself a beader. So, If you are interested in becoming a beader, there are several classes that you can take to learn the necessary skills and techniques. Beading is an art form that has been around for centuries and involves creating small, decorative objects out of various materials, such as glass, clay, metal, and even paper.

Now, here are some classes that can help you get started on your journey to becoming a guru bead maker:

Do you want to know the real tip to becoming a successful beader? It’s simple! Double your rate of mistakes.

You see, a lot of beaders want to be perfect from day one, but that’s not how success works.

The real secret? Make more mistakes! Yes!! Every time your design doesn’t turn out right, every time your thread breaks or your pattern looks off, you’re actually learning something new. So don’t be scared of mistakes. Keep experimenting, keep creating because that’s how great beaders are made.

THE UNEXPECTED BEADING INSPIRATION.

You see, one of the things that will make you stand out in the beading industry is your creativity skills, and this can emanate from inspiration.

Inspiration can strike from the most unexpected places! It can strike when you are on the move, cooking, reading, or even when you are in the toilet. But my advice to you is that you should make use of that inspiration, you can write it down if the occasion warrants you to.

You remember the story we told you about how our founder overcame the challenge she faced why making a cross beaded bag for our client who lives in Germany, you remember right? Well she got that fascinating pattern while sleeping which inspired that design that turned out to be one of our best creations.

How do you get inspiration for your beading business? Share your stories someone might get inspiration from that.
