Before full production comes the mock-up.

For this guesthouse project, we produced a selection of the proposed furniture pieces and set up a full mock room in our showroom for the client to experience in person.

From the bed and bedside units to the wardrobe, desk, coffee table and TV console, the client was able to see how the pieces worked together, review the proportions and finishes, and make comments before we moved on to the next stage.

Because sometimes, the best way to review a space is to step into it.

The one that never even made it to launch. 😂💙

As we celebrate 6 years of PIQIT, we’re going all the way back to the beginning — to some of the pieces, moments and memories that started it all.

This West Elm coffee table was one of the very first pieces we brought into PIQIT.

The plan?
Private viewing first. Official launch after.

What actually happened? A client came in during private viewing week, saw the table… and bought every single one we had. 😭

So technically, this PIQIT favourite was sold out before PIQIT even officially launched.

Not a bad way to start, right? 😂

Six years later, and we still remember the pieces that started the story.

Who remembers this table? And more importantly… should we bring something like it back? 👀

There’s something about seeing a space in person: the proportions, the finishes, the little details and how everything comes together once installed.

Today’s site visit took us back to this beautifully finished kitchen — rich wood tones, warm stone, integrated storage, illuminated display cabinetry and a layout designed to make every inch work.
