Residential project Amsterdam South — The upper floor of this home once formed an entirely separate apartment. It was stripped back completely and redesigned to create a new layout that works as one home for this family.

At its centre is an open living space, with steel-framed glass doors with fitted curtains, connecting to the master bedroom and allowing daylight to travel throughout the floor. Warm tones and tactile materials continue upstairs, creating a natural connection with the spaces below.

The renovation is now taking shape on site.

Introducing the artists — Marisa Klaster

is a Dutch designer and maker whose work sits somewhere between object and function. With a background in art direction, she creates handcrafted wooden pieces that celebrate material, craftsmanship, and everyday rituals.

For her REFRAMED series, Marisa transforms leftover wood profiles, often forgotten in the workshops of cabinet makers and carpenters, into sculptural frames inspired by the beautifully detailed gilded picture frames of past centuries.

I was drawn to this series for the way it gives discarded materials a second life. Each frame is a beautiful object in itself, but can also become the perfect setting for a piece of art.

Currently on view an available at the gallery:

REFRAMED – Large oak frame
REFRAMED – Black charred frame

Project Amsterdam South — A full renovation connecting the ground and first floor through a sculptural staircase, designed as a central element within the space. Alongside this, a custom kitchen that feels integrated and calm.

Inspired by the Amsterdamse School, with a focus on rhythm and repetition, translated into a more contemporary language.

The renovation is now taking place on site, more soon.

Introducing the artists — Stone Stackers

Stone Stackers is an Italian-based studio founded by Shilpa Srinivas and Paolo Ciacci. Their work centres around reusing discarded marble, transforming leftover fragments into sculptural, functional objects.

Working in close collaboration with a marble supplier, they give new life to materials that would otherwise be overlooked, embracing irregularity and variation as part of the design.

I was drawn to their work for the way they play with these discarded pieces and recompose them into something entirely new. Each object feels both raw and refined at the same time.

Currently on view at the gallery:
Two vases/objects, a travertine bench, and a console.

All pieces are available.

A quiet period online, but a full one in the studio.

New projects, ongoing work, and a strong sense of growth.
Often so immersed in the work, materials, presentations, drawings, sourching, that it’s easy to forget what is actually unfolding. I’m feeling thankful!

A private tour through Versailles.

Experiencing the palace without other visitors gave a completely different perspective. The scale, the light and the craftmanship made the details even more present. Very inspiring!

Thank you for organising 🤎

Introducing the artists — Camille Tan

Camille Tan is an artist and designer based in Brussels, working across installation, design, and craft. His practice centres around balance, gravity, and the quiet dialogue between materials.

Using stone, wood, metal, and found elements collected during his travels, he creates compositions that feel both delicate and grounded. Each mobile is shaped through an intuitive process of testing, adjusting, and finding a precise point of equilibrium.

I was drawn to his work for its unexpected presence, the way he works with materials, and how each piece brings something dynamic into a space. Suspended from the ceiling, these works exist somewhere between object and movement.
