„Material as Narrative” is an exhibition where texture serves as a central element in the construction of visual narratives. The works on view invite the audience to pause and reflect on moments captured in material and photography, provoking contemplation on the nature of matter itself. The tactile qualities of the pieces—whether delicate or bold—become storytellers, communicating nuanced meanings, emotions, and contexts. This exhibition explores the vast diversity of textures, fostering a dialogue about the relationship between material and narrative, as well as the dynamic between artist and artwork.

The Nocturnal series is a collection of analogue photographs taken during the day, but through the use of expired negatives, they mimic the atmosphere of night. This transformation creates a world where daylight shifts into an ethereal, twilight realm, casting scenes in a deep blue hue. The images create a sense of stillness and quietness, as if day has seamlessly given way to the night’s mystery. Antoni and Natalia, always captivated by the mysticality of the night, use this technique to blur the boundaries between light and dark, reality and dream.
