More than one year ago we designed and made this storefront. The aim was a sun-filtering yet striking window treatment with the torso as a focal point. In the reception area behind a painting required protection from the sun. The result seemed simple, but challenges like the broken circle and placing the torso precisely in the middle added complexity. All happy with the result.

At Pride Amsterdam 2022, we rolled out the rainbow for Amnesty International on boat 6 of the canal parade
What a joy it was to see the Amnesty boat!
The parade draws attention to everybody’s part in the struggle for the emancipation of LGBTIs and celebrates our Pride.

Anouk & Dominique’s Wedding!

“Props and Backdrops” were honoured to help create Dominique Schemmekes tailor-made shirt for his wedding ceremony to Anouk!

We adapted this original Ghanaian pattern, to flow along the neckline of his suit and sit next to the beautiful jewellery of the outfit.

Following which, embroidered the shaped symbol in gold silk.
Sasja from ’amsterdam took care of the fitted design & bling!

We don't doubt it has been seen at Malieveld, The Hague!
Congratulations to the couple!
