This Friday, June 5th, Foam Talent 2026 opened to the public. Foam’s biannual group exhibition presents the work of 15 artists who were selected from 3,000 submissions from 107 countries. Their photographs will be presented across several Foam platforms, as well as a travelling presentation at the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation in Frankfurt.

We have produced 17 Talent Editions for Foam, and were honored to bring their 18th exhibition into life yet again. It is inspiring to see new visions and narratives emerging from the world’s youngest photographers as new work comes to our studio.

The exhibition will be on display at Foam from 6 June - 28 August 2026.

A few weeks ago, we received scanned images of Jewish photographer Maria Austria’s original negatives from Museum Kamp Westerbork. The photographs stem from a project she did in April 1952. Austria (1915–1975) took 31 photographs during her visit, capturing the moluccan orchestra as well as children and families living in the camp. We carefully enhanced the files to meet contemporary museum-quality standards, preparing them for exhibition and print.

The exhibition Maria Austria Was Here is on view at Kamp Westerbork from February 19, 2026, to January 2, 2027.

Rob van Uchelen is a Dutch photographer trained at St. Joost Academy of Visual Arts (Breda) and a Fellow of the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten (Amsterdam). His work spans commercial, non-profit, and artistic fields, always with a distinctive, meticulous eye.

In this series, Rob turns his lens toward the soil. The close-up photographs capture the fine grain of the earth, creating a texture that feels like delicate graphite drawing.

We printed these images on fine art baryta glossy paper, mounted them on Dibond, and installed a custom hanging system. We’re thrilled to showcase his photographs in our studio until December!

A year ago we printed the photographs for Celebrating Communities, an exhibition in Ivory Coast. It was created in collaboration between the Foundation and , with support from the Chocolonely Foundation and Fondation Donwahi.

At its heart, the exhibition was about community. The projects on display brought together diverse perspectives and narratives, showing how community shapes lives locally and globally.
We’re proud to have been part of this collective storytelling. ✨🌍

Humans in Transit is an exhibition by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), featuring portraits by Tawab Safi, Ngadi Smart, Souad Kokash, and Barli Tishibanda.

The exhibition is inspired by the testimonies of 400 people who shared their experiences of migration with MSF over the past decade. Some spoke from Libya, others aboard search and rescue vessels in the Mediterranean Sea. To protect their identities, names and personal details have been omitted, but their voices and portraits speak powerfully of resilience in the face of violence, displacement, and loss.

Each portrait in this exhibition represents a deeply personal story. Every face, every image, every story has also passed through our studio—a production process we approached with care, holding in mind not only the 400 people represented here, but also all those who have made, or continue to make, this difficult journey.

This special project features Eveline Kroese’s ()Picasso-inspired paintings on canvas. We capture the originals using a high-resolution technical camera, then carefully color-correct each file to perfectly match the artwork. The result? A near-identical print that honors every detail of the original piece!

At our fine art studio, we embrace creative talent at every stage: some returning, and some just beginning to glimpse their gift. Through FOAM Talent, we get to meet photographers who are just entering Amsterdam’s photography museum scene, and we are honored to witness their artistic process.

To see the lights and shadows that shape each generation’s perception of the world is both grounding and thought-provoking. Foam () creates printed Talent Editions every year, and we treasure them, saving and keeping them in our studio. Every now and then, we look back, inspired by the images and stories, and ever curious about the lives and careers past awardees have built.

The 2025 Foam Talent Call will be accepting applications soon. If you’ve printed your work with us, we encourage you to submit and hope to see your work in next year’s editions, and hopefully we see your work again!

Exhibited in 2024 at , Rebels was the first large-scale retrospective of iconic British-American, punk and hip-hop photographer Janette Beckman (). Over four decades, Beckman has captured pivotal underground movements: from early punk and hip-hop to recent protests like Black Lives Matter.

The exhibition celebrated brave individuals who challenge norms, featuring photographs of Anti-Trump protests, peace demonstrations for Gaza, portraits of music’s trailblazers, and her influence on fashion. Her photographs mattered when they were first taken, when the exhibition was mounted, and they matter now. We look back with deep respect and lasting admiration.

Foam invited DJ Cutnice to curate a playlist inspired by Beckman’s work, featuring albums by the artists she photographed.

📸 Janette Beckman (b. 1959) is a British-American photographer whose work is part of the British National Portrait Gallery and other major collections.
