Small VS Big!

A miniature Delft vase and a monumental Delft vase, 6cm against 60cm! Both early 18th century.

Just in! A spectacular tulipiere for a massive bouquet of flowers 🤩

This tulip vase or better flower vase is decorated with river scenes with castles, boats and mountains. There are nine spouts in the shape of leaves. It measures a stagering 38,5cm in width and 30cm in height.

Made in the 19th century, by the Saint-Clément workshop, France.

A set of two small but fine Dutch Delft vases in Chinese Kangxi porcelain style. Decorated in a wonderful, deep dark blue on a clear white ground. On the body, we see two figures playing the game of Go. On the other side, we find a rock formation and foliage. The tops of the vases are adorned with silver (of a later date), which makes them look even more luxurious, although this was probably done to repair damage to the tops.

Curiously marked 1184.

Made in Delft, the Netherlands, circa 1700.  Workshop unknown.  The vases are in excellent condition, with normal superficial wear and small chips, as expected for their age.
- The tops of the vases were cut and mounted with silver.

I proudly present this wonderful project we have been working on this year. Not only did we design the backsplash, but the entire kitchen!

The tiles in the backsplash date from the first half of the 17th century and are decorated with birds and flowers, all of one firing. Also, the plain white tiles are originals and date to the 18th/19th century.

The cabinet doors are all hand-made in collaboration with , two of them have windows to display fine glassware, and others.

The height of the kitchen has also been taken into account, with an edge above the kitchen cabinets where special tiles from the owner’s collection can be displayed.

A fine Dutch Delft vase in Chinese Transitional porcelain style. Decorated in a wonderful, deep dark blue on a clear white ground. On the body, we see two cartouches with flowers and a bird. The two cartouches are divided by an ornamental design. On both sides of the neck, we see a floral design of a tulip, directly copied from Chinese porcelain examples.

Unmarked.

Made in Delft, the Netherlands, circa 1700.  Workshop unknown.  The vase is wonderful condition, with some minor chips to one side of the top rim, as can be expected for its age.

A set of two Dutch Delft smaller vases in Chinese Transitional porcelain style of octagonal shape. The decoration is in a greyish blue, with birds on a rock surrounded by plants and flowers.

Marked 112 / 8 and 7.

Made in Delft, the Netherlands.  Workshop unknown.  The vases are in excellent condition, with normal superficial wear and small chips, as expected for their age.

Some tiles are just exceptional in their drawing. Look at all the details of this rider, shooting his pistol while the horse rears. Just fabulous!

Made in Amsterdam?, the Netherlands, 1640 - 1660.
In a perfect condition, some old glue remains on the back.
