The Frozen Fountain The Frozen Fountain is a shop selling contemporary furniture and home accessories. In addition, The Frozen Fountain has organised many exhibitions.

The collection is then made complete by a selection of international furniture brands, creating an interesting interplay of classics and designs by contemporary designers. With these exhibitions, we strive to visualise the symbiosis between idea and end product. The emphasis has now shifted more onto installations and art commissions. Installations can be organised relatively quickly, allowing us

to respond better to the latest developments. In addition, issuing art commissions allows us to investigate a particular subject in greater depth.

The Blow-Up Lamps by Willem Zwiers are all about the unexpected. 💡

What started as experiments in ceramic quickly turned into a series where mistakes became features and surprises shaped its form. The lamps seem to burst open around the light source, revealing rough edges, soft curves, and traces of the making process.

The result is a playful collection of sculptural lamps that feel spontaneous and full of personality. 💛

Last Friday, The Frozen Fountain transformed into a meeting place (and party!) for contemporary design, new perspectives, good conversations, drinks, bites, and tunes during The Future Classics 2026.

The evening celebrated emerging talents alongside established designers, showcasing new works and future classics in the making.

Featuring a fun and insightful talk by Willem Zwiers on his collections, the ideas behind them, their production, and future possibilities.
