Een mooi plaatje is geen plan.
Een plaatje toont een resultaat, het toont niet de weg daar naartoe. En juist op deze weg is waar het vaak misgaat bij een verbouwing of herinrichting.
Een interieur ontstaat niet uit een plaatje, maar uit een plan dat de wensen van de bewoners en de mogelijkheden van de woning samenbrengt: de maatvoering, het lichtplan, de materiaalkeuze en hoe alles op elkaar aansluit. En ook wie het uitvoert, wanneer het klaar is en wat het kost.
Pas als ontwerp en uitvoering allebei duidelijk zijn, heb je een plan… en daarmee het plaatje.
