VEURS VMBO
VMBO Veurs is a small and orderly secondary school for practical education, with about 400 students in total. As of 2022, the school is located in a recently built complex in the post-war residential area of Voorburg 't Loo. The modern school building, designed by atelier PRO, is compact in design, with a clear structure and a masonry facade that harmonizes with the surrounding buildings. Particularly noteworthy, however, is the school's social commitment to the surrounding community.

We are grateful that we were able to contribute and install Duracem in the school building! The kitchen/practice room made with Duratop.

Durastone is a flexible and sustainable alternative to polished concrete. The natural exposed aggregates in a bio-based binder mimic an industrial look with resilient characteristics.

CANADA HOUSE DUBLIN
The beauty and rich look of traditional Terrazzo flooring in Canada House Dublin. This Roman invention, enhanced with today’s latest technologies offers a unique floor. Durabella has exceptional properties in appearance, aesthetics and durability. Durabella is a decorative floor finish made from a colored biobased binder mixed with marble, glass and other natural materials. After finishing, the natural beauty of the marble chips in a colorful substrate is visible and forms a beautiful, durable and flexible Terrazzo.

RICOH BUSINESS CENTER
The office design for the Ricoh Business Center, an imaging and printing solutions company, was done in a rough concrete building. Ricoh wanted a loft with a modern feel, but also warm and inviting.

MVD design used materials such as raw steel partitions, wood, velvet and marble and beautiful carpets. The entrance is dramatic and theatrical with a black finish, accent lighting and a unique architectural shape. Our Durapure design floor is a beautiful addition and matches the concrete look of the building.
The center of the office is the kitchen and lounge area. This is a great space for informal meetings with others. It is a great modern office with warm colors for contrast. The display case is custom made in raw steel and it worked so nicely with the rest of the partitions.

DURABELLA SEAMLESS TERRAZZO
A sustainable, seamless and flexible terrazzo flooring made up of rapidly renewable resources that are free of ortho-phthalates, chlorine and solvents. Durabella has exceptional characteristics in appearance, aesthetics and durability – a decorative floor finish, with endless customizable designs including logos, unique patterns and intricate designs. The overall construction is not vastly different from that of traditional Terrazzo, though the ingredient makeup is very different.

TILBURG CITY COUNCIL’S NEW STORE
As Duracryl, we were allowed to contribute to this with our floor Corques Liquid Lino in Tilburg City Council’s new City Store. Corques is a tough, flexible seamless comfortable floor covering. Corques can be used as a seamless decorative floor covering in the education sector, medical sector, offices, museums, but is also suitable for domestic surfaces. In short Corques is a perfect solution for floors where the owners and users have a high demand on comfort, wear and impact resistance and hygiene. Corques is a seamless solution from wall to wall.

VIJZELGRACHT HOUSE

From seventeenth-century weaver’s house to contemporary urban home
Vijzelgracht House is a national heritage site designed by Philips Vingboons in about 1670 as a weaver’s house. It is one of roughly eighty weaver’s houses that have survived.

The restoration and renovation preserved the original layout and revealed as much of the original material as possible. Later additions were removed and partly rebuiltto a higher standard within the same volume. Benthem Crouwel has transformed the house with its rich history into a contemporary family home.

The applied colour palette unites and enhances the various materials and spaces. Thepalette ranges from dark tones on the lower floor to brighttones on the attic level. The careful new detailing combines with the original seventeenth-century elements to give this house a special character.

DURABELLA SEAMLESS TERRAZZO

The floors are available in the version of smaller and larger pieces of marble and natural stone. The combinations are endless: natural stone, marble and granite, bonded in a setting of coloured binding agent.

The floor distinguishes itself from other terrazzo floors through the absence of joints and dilatations. It is seamless and therefore, much more sleek.
