Hehe, all Christmas trees are all gone, of course, and here in the Netherlands we already have the first flowers popping out of the ground. But I wanted to share this sketch that was made long before the holidays as an option for the Christmas card for my work. Another option was chosen in the end, but this is too cute to go to the archive.

My daughter loves organizing parties for her friends. Annually we’re hosting Halloween and Easter parties. invitation cards are an important part of preparation process. She always asks me to develop several designs so that she could pick the best, although she almost always draws something herself and uses her own designs 😅 anyways I loose myself in the process. So this card is the first, there will be two more and I will post this from last year as well.

Just a while ago I’ve seen an ad on me feed, I guess it was from . And I thought, wow, I like the atmosphere, the light, the colors, I would like to sketch it on my iPad. And then it was summer, graduation of my son, vacation, search for a new job and I had neither time nor resources for sketching and other fun stuff I love to do. But now, when most of the routines are established again, and most importantly the mental capacity, I have fun doing things I like. So here’s a quick sketch, that waited its turn to appear.

Hi! Gosh it was a long vacation and lots have happened. This sketch was made the month ago already but I failed to shoot a nice video of the process. I guess I could do it in the coming week but. Is there anybody here who’s waiting for the sketch tutorial? Put a + in the comments.
In the meanwhile a small update: I quit my work at the architectural bureau and am going to do more nice and creative stuff so hopefully I will have more inspiring stuff to show here. And I’m also working in several interiors ☺️ so stay tuned and I’m back again!
