Bespoke Window Decoration for the RÓHE Flagship Store in New York
Some collaborations begin with a product. Others begin with a shared philosophy. For the opening of RÓHE’s first flagship store at 77 Mercer Street, New York, Indivipro worked closely with founders Marieke Meulendijks and Maickel Weyers to create bespoke window treatments, designed exclusively for the space, that complements the brand’s residential and gallery-inspired retail concept.
Róhe
RÓHE has built an international reputation through a philosophy centred on an infinite dialogue of quiet confidence, where craftsmanship, innovation and an artistic community converge. This ethos is reflected in both the architectural and curatorial decisions
throughout the space.
“Founded in Amsterdam, we are continuously inspired by Dutch history and textiles. It is the place of our home, our studio and our lives. I never begin with what feels current. I’m drawn to what will still feel meaningful years from now: thoughtful design, honest materials and the care behind each detail. That’s why working with Indivipro felt so natural. Their approach to textiles and craftsmanship speaks to the calm, quality and authenticity I want people to feel in our new store.”

“To capture the feeling of moving at a slower pace, we developed two window decoration fabrics exclusively for this project. What stood out throughout the collaboration was the balance between uncompromising refinement and genuine openness. That combination, which we believe is at the heart of RÓHE, inspired every detail,
including a tailor-made suspension system crafted in collaboration with a Dutch blacksmith’s workshop.”

This bespoke weave originated during the creation of our upcoming Gallery Collection and evolved into a tailor-made project for RÓHE.
Along the way, we recognised a shared belief that shapes our vision for both the flagship store and the Indivipro Gallery collection. A belief in art and craftsmanship in their purest form. It brings together worlds of creativity, materiality and culture. Natural fibr
