✨ EXCLUSIEVE VEILING ✨ | Erfgoed uit Breda gezocht door de echte fijnproever! 🏛️ Vandaag openen we de deuren naar een wel heel bijzonder hoofdstuk uit onze collectie. Via Kunstveiling.nl bieden wij twee monumentale glas-in-loodramen aan uit de naoorlogse wederopbouwperiode (ca. 1950) van de iconische Driesprongkerk te Breda.

In 1995 werd deze kerk definitief gesloopt, maar deze meesterwerken overleefden gelukkig de slopershamer. Nu – exact 31 jaar later – krijgen deze historische vensters een nieuwe bestemming.

🎨 Het Verhaal & Vakmanschap
De ramen tonen een fabelachtige synergie van een legendarisch Bredaas kunstenaarsduo. Ontworpen en uitgevoerd door de destijds jonge kunstenares Akke Sins, en technisch gerealiseerd onder de directe supervisie van haar leermeester en kunstprofessor Gerrit de Morée (Academie St. Joost). Haar verfijnde, ritmische lijnenspel smelt hier prachtig samen met zijn zware, expressionistische vlakverdelingen.

Te bezichtigen in deze exclusieve veiling:

This isn't just any vase; it's a masterpiece created for 'La Maîtrise', the exclusive art studio of the Parisian Galeries Lafayette. Standing at an impressive 48 cm tall and weighing a substantial 4.2 kg, this is the ultimate statement piece.

🏺 NIEUWE VONDST: Een 17e-eeuws Zwitsers meesterwerk! 🏺

Tijdens onze inkoopreizen hopen we altijd op dat ene, unieke object met een écht verhaal. Soms komt dat sneller op je pad dan je denkt! Met trots voegen we deze monumentale bronzen wapengrape (driepootkookpot) toe aan onze collectie.

Dit is met recht een museumstuk te noemen. Met een hoogte van 26 cm en een gewicht van maar liefst 8,8 kg is dit een zeldzaam zware geweldenaar. De poten zijn volledig massief meegegoten, een kostbare techniek die getuigt van pure ambacht uit de Barokperiode (ca. 1650–1690).

Wat dit stuk écht fascinerend maakt, is het handgemodelleerde reliëf aan de voorzijde: de tweekoppige rijksadelaar met de letter 'S' prominent in het borstschild. Dit wijst historisch op een Zwitserse herkomst (zoals de Keizerlijke Rijksstad Solothurn). Bovendien staat de 'S' voor Speise – de allerhoogste kwaliteit klokkengietbrons.

De authenticiteit en hoge ouderdom zijn inmiddels visueel bevestigd door een bekende Haute Époque-expert. De pot verkeert in een schitterende, onverprutste staat met het originele handgesmede ijzeren hengsel en een prachtige, eeuwenoude patina.

Een waanzinnig 'conversation piece' voor de serieuze verzamelaar of als exclusieve blikvanger in een high-end interieur.

We are extremely proud to present this rare, early 20th-century pair of monumental antique zinc garden cranes. Because the set features one upright crane (96 cm) and one elegantly bowing heron (77 cm), it creates a captivating, lifelike symmetry.

Although many modern garden statues are lightweight, these heavy art pieces are masterfully cast from solid zinc, weighing 9.0 kg combined. Through decades of standing outside in the elements, the metal has developed a stunning, authentic silvery-grey oxide patina and characteristic white rust. A robust yet highly refined weapon of the Austro-Hungarian elite forces, designed to strike the perfect balance between brute power and battlefield agility.What makes this particular piece a holy grail for militaria collectors is the legendary "Knight's Head" (Ritterkopf) stamped on the blade. This is the exclusive trademark of master smith C.R. Kirschbaum from Solingen, precisely dating this saber between 1870 and 1883. Featuring an intricately etched blade, a basket hilt with weight-reducing perforations, and an authentic ray skin grip. Even the scabbard tells a tale: it bears a characteristic dent caused by hitting the stirrups while riding te paard over a century ago.

True to the Burmese Shan tradition, the elaborate winged crown is intricately detailed and constructed using the original removable peg-and-mortise system. Its surface tells a deep story of time and devotion: layers of deep red ‘thitsi’ lacquer beneath beautifully aged, organic gold leaf.
