‘stepping into another universe’.
Her world is one of molten timing, controlled chaos, and shapes that behave like carved light.
Nienke Sikkema x HKliving creating a family of glass objects that feel like contemporary gemstones — heavy, luminous, and a little unruly.

These aren’t fragile ornaments.
They’re bold pieces that hold their own in a space.
Objects that could sit on a pedestal, sure, but that truly come alive in the everyday: on a shelf, next to a lamp, catching whatever light happens to hit it.
Each one feels slightly different — a fingerprint, not a formula.
The goal wasn’t perfection.
It was presence.

Brown is the color of depth, warmth and comfort.
Statement or is it just comfortable, brown is back!
Brown works because it anchors a room, it offers emotional warmth and grounding energy.
A true brown interior doesn’t shy away from personality; use a statement piece sofa, a big eye piece artwork or a masterpiece xxl wool rug.
These elements create visual tension, making your space not just stylish but memorable.

Retro trends going on steady instore and in Home.
The best retro-inspired interiors today are bold and rebellious, driven more by mood rather than a time period.
Think “color saturated rooms, sculptural furniture, playful patterns, and an embrace of the handmade.
The colors you’ll most often see are deep reds, rusts, olives and avocados, and golden tones like amber and caramel.
Retro is more about a feeling than it is about looking perfect.
