WHAT:
I am a designer with a passion for photography and design. I’m also a foodlover. Unfortunately I have to admit, that I cannot eat all the food I like. That’s why I started creating styling with food. Artemis Styling academy gave me the opportunity for that. And I just love doing it. WHEN:
I started my company Inside Out Design in 2007. Before 2007 I was creatin
g new interiors for friends and family for years. I wasn’t getting paid by them. All I got was a bunch of flowers or a choclate bar, every time I made a concept or design. I finally realized that I was doing something wrong and it wasn’t helping me to keep in shape. Not to good for my figure. In 2008 I decided to enroll at the Artemis styling academy in Amsterdam where I graduated in 2010. In 2011 I won the second price at the design competition for Satteliet meubelen held at the Horecava in Amsterdam. In 2012 I started my label by SISSA. I design interior accessories made of men’s fabrics (my graduation project) I finally get paid for the work I deliver. In 2013 I openend my first own office. I won a designprice for Histor and Piet Hein Eek. In 2022 I am still loving what I do. I never regret the choices I made and the chances I took
WHERE:
I’m living and working all over the world. Because I am a very blessed person who can combine two jobs. I‘m not only working as an interior designer, but I am also working as a Senior Purser for KLM since 1989. now you can figure out how old I am...
The world is my inspiration but my home town is Haarlem, an old historic town close to the beach. And I love going to the beach. In winter and summer. I don’t care what the temperature is like. As long as I can feel the sand and the sea through my hands. WHY:
I am a creative person with lot’s of passions. I feel like I am
obliged to explore all my creativity. I was born to see all the beauty that the world is offering us. And I am grateful for that. WORK:
I create Interior designconcepts for private homes, company’s, galleries. Food, photo styling and styling stills for magazines. Graphic design like logo’s, businesscards and websites. And last but not least... I am trying to learn more and more about photography. WORDS:
