This series of wood and acrylic panels by Daniel Martin will be presented by Galerie Chez Freddy Art & Design during Art Island, from May 22–24, set within the unique atmosphere of a historic fort.

The works are inspired by the idea that we never perceive reality completely directly, but always experience a version or interpretation of it. Shadow, depth, and movement play an essential role, allowing the image to continuously shift depending on perspective and light.

Tickets for Art Island are available via the Art Island website.

Gallery .art.design brings the installation Pelgrimage.exe by Tom Haakman to KunstRAI.

Today is the final day — don’t miss it.

Made with church benches and cast statues, the work looks at how religion is slowly losing its place today, while technology becomes more important.

Tom mixes religious symbols with elements from internet culture, showing a world between past and future. His work makes you think about what belief and meaning look like now.

His sculptures come together to create a space where tradition meets technology.

Gallery .art.design is pleased to present new work by Tjimkje de Boer at the KunstRAI.

Her wall pieces and objects, titled Roots, bring together woven wood and resin in layered, organic forms where strength and fragility meet. Each work is unique, reflecting on connection—between people and generations.
