The Dutch Design Chair was introduced in the Netherlands in June 2011. The sturdy, durable stool soon became a huge success at home and abroad and sparked the idea for a whole new line of innovative products made from cardboard.

Vandaag graag jullie aandacht voor de Tree trunk!

Deze warme, natuurlijk boomstamprint gaat al mee vanaf het allereerste begin en is voor ons inmiddels klassiek geworden. Met deze print wonnen we zelfs ooit de Red Dot Design award al stond ie toen op de Dutch Design Chair en niet op de Storage Box. Hoe dan ook een favoriet van het eerste uur.

Deze winterse print leent zich uitstekend voor het opbergen van mutsen, sjaals en wanten. En mocht je een houtkachel hebben dan kun je je echte boomstammen hierin bewaren. Ook nog leverbaar in andere formaten.

Today, we'd love to put the spotlight on Tree Trunk! 🌳

This warm, natural wood-effect print has been with us since the very beginning and has become something of a classic. We even won a Red Dot Design Award with this print, although back then it was featured on the Dutch Design Chair rather than the Storage Box. Either way, it's been one of our favourites from day one!

This winter-inspired print is perfect for storing hats, scarves and mittens. And if you happen to have a wood-burning stove, you can even use it to store real logs! 🔥

🇳🇱 Het mooiste bankje van Haarlem? Dat staat misschien wel achter de Molen Adriaan, aan het Spaarne. 🤎

Het bankje van Gé is handgemaakt door onze achterbuurman, met hout van zaagmolen De Eenhoorn. Dankzij zijn oog voor materiaal en detail is ieder bankje uniek en zit je letterlijk op honderden uren vakmanschap.

Voor ons is het meer dan een mooie plek om even te zitten. Het is een ode aan lokaal vakmanschap, goed ontwerp en materialen met karakter.

🇬🇧 The most beautiful bench in Haarlem? You might find it behind the Molen Adriaan, along the Spaarne. 🤎

Gé’s bench was handmade by our neighbour, using wood from the De Eenhoorn sawmill. With his eye for materials and detail, every bench is unique — and each one represents hundreds of hours of craftsmanship.

To us, it’s more than just a beautiful place to sit. It’s a tribute to local craftsmanship, thoughtful design and materials with character.

Op 1 september begint de meteorologische herfst. De luchtige jurkjes maken langzaam plaats voor warme truien en vesten. Tijd voor die jaarlijkse wissel in je kledingkast!
