Oops, I did it again.

Proud (and a little nervous) to share my letter in today’s Financial Times.
Last week in Crete, I discussed morality with philosophers. Left pessimistic about where we are, but hopeful about where we could be.
Then I read how tech elites and populists are eroding the rule of law. My mind jumped to Alessandro Michele at Gucci and his work with philosopher Emanuele Coccia on fashion as re-enchantment and freedom.
If fashion can invent new possibilities, why not democracy? Why not our shared life together?
If we don’t strive for justice, equality, beauty, harmony - what the heck are we striving for? What are we living for? Hopefully not for more likes or more stuff.
I often hesitate to share thoughts like these. But these times call for courage.

Thanksgiving Day is over but I try to be thankful every day for all the little and big joys life brings me. I am also thankful for being resilient when tough times come and from all the learning that comes when life brings us sadness or challenges. Give thanks, hugs and love every day of the year.

We hebben nog prachtige stoffen op de rol met mooie aantal meters om nog een leuk project mee te doen. We zullen deze online in de story’s en hoogtepunt laten zien. De allerlaatste meters, reageer met verkocht of stuur ons een dm bij interesse. Je kan de items komen afhalen bij ons in Haarlem. Ook is het nog mogelijk om rond te kijken.
