It doesn’t have to be complicated to be fun 🍁 There’s so much to be found in nature (especially around this time of year) that sparks all sorts of interesting discussion around Autumn and the world changing around us. Looking for something to do with the kids this week? Look no further than the ground outside, and don’t forget to encourage questions as you go 🤎

Michaelmas reminds us that courage isn’t the absence of fear but the strength to take action, even in those moments of fear. As parents, we can help our children be brave to overcome obstacles. Here’s a few ways we can do so :

- Leading by example, showing our children how we navigate difficult situations and challenges by saying things like “this is tricky but I’m going to keep trying to work it out”
- Not always jumping in to solve problems for our children straight away, letting them figure it out first.
- Praising your child’s effort, rather than the end result.

The moon they talked to, the secret notes, the unexpected adventures, the nights spent watching stars… one day these little moments become part of the childhood they remember.🧡
And as they grow, the magic grows with them. Imagination becomes curiosity, little rituals become traditions, and time together becomes something they may treasure in a whole new way.
We can’t keep them little, but we can keep making room for wonder along the way. ✨

This is me, Annefleur, with my daughters 🥰 It was for them that I first started creating a warm little world of wool, never knowing it would one day become the beginning of Toverlux✨

One of my favourite moments is story time. Cuddling up, choosing which Silhouette to put in the Lamp, reading a story and watching the light bring all the colours and textures alive🧡

Some seasons show us growth in obvious ways.
Others reveal it quietly. In the children beside us, in the memories we’ve made, and in the parts of ourselves that have softened, strengthened, or changed along the way.

That may be the beauty of this time of harvest: realising how much has been growing while we were simply living🌾
