There’s something deeply nostalgic about the scent of eucalyptus for me. After living in 🇦🇺 Australia for nearly 20 years, the fresh aroma of the gum trees became part of everyday life — grounding, calming, unforgettable. 🌿

This cold processed soap is scented with pure Australian eucalyptus essential oil, blended beautifully with rosemary and mint for a refreshing, therapeutic experience. The natural green colour comes from nettle, making this bar 100% earth and skin friendly.

The shower experience is incredible — like stepping into an Australian outback spa after a long day. Cooling, uplifting, muscle-soothing, and deeply relaxing for both body and mind. ✨

🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊The scent of freshly pressed oranges takes me back to my childhood in Lusaka. I grew up on a little farm in the outskirts, where we had a small orange orchard. Fresh pressed orange juice was often one of the first scents of my day, and my love and appreciation of these incredible citrus fruits have followed me into my world of a soap maker.

A fun and possibly useless fact is that you CAN actually make soap using orange juice 😆! I personally prefer to drink my juice, but I have found a fun way to incorporate the zest of this juicy sun-ripened joy in my soaps, by way of essential oil. Citrus essential oils have a nasty habit of disappearing from the soap bar after curing, which is incredibly frustrating as a soap maker. This is where you need to get creative, tap into your knowledge and memory of biochemistry and figure out ways to anchor the scent. I’ve searched high and low for an incredible 5 fold orange Essential Oil, which I now include in my soaps, adding a touch of luxury to every bar.

It’s bright, refreshing, skin loving and luxurious! I’m excited to add L’Orangeraie to my collection which is a bold and beautiful orange scented soap, dropping soon.

🧼✨ Why I choose ingredients like I do as an artisan soap maker

Being a soap maker means I get a rare privilege: I don’t have to chase the lowest-cost formula — I get to choose quality.

Many commercial soaps are built around maximizing profit margins. Mine are formulated around something different: skin-loving, high-quality ingredients that actually nourish the skin.

That’s why I use pure organic extra virgin olive oil sourced from Spain. Olive oil is a traditional powerhouse known for its skin benefits, including:

🫧 Deep moisturising properties that help keep skin soft and hydrated
🍃 Rich in antioxidants like vitamin E, helping protect skin from environmental stress

Growing up, sunsets were a magical time. The Sub-Saharan sun turned the skies all shades of orange, and an indescribable sweet and calming scent filled the air. I would soon learn that this majestic scent came from the beautiful shrubs my mum had planted, whose flowers looked like white bursting stars. Queen of the Night or Night Blooming Jasmine - a name I would remember for the rest of my life.

30yrs later, as a soap maker, after countless trials and sample batches later - I have finally captured this incredible scent in a beautiful handcrafted soap. Using only essential oils, and a combination of skin loving oils and butters, the majestic scent of jasmine will fill your bathroom with calm and serenity. This is more than a soap, it’s a quiet moment, a reminder to slow down and savor the moment. I miss those alluring sunsets, but every evening I wind down for the day, I still smell the majestic scent of the sunset fill my bathroom and its pure bliss. 😌

After carefully refining and perfecting this recipe, I’m so excited to finally share this incredible citrus cold process soap. Infused with vibrant orange and lemon essential oils, it delivers the most uplifting, fresh scent that instantly brightens your day ☀️

I’ve designed the bar to include a fine pencil line made from activated charcoal, known for its gentle cleansing properties and a sprinkle of poppy seeds for a mild and massage like exfoliation. This bar gently cleanses while leaving skin feeling smooth, refreshed, and beautifully nourished. Every detail has been thoughtfully created to make this soap as luxurious as it is effective — and the scent is absolutely incredible.

This one truly feels like sunshine in your hands. 🍊🫧

Soap making is insanely addictive! It’s science you can feel and art you can lather 🥰🫧. After countless hours spent testing various combinations of essential oils 🧪, I’m slowly but surely crafting a range of incredibly scented medleys!

This luxurious bar was scented using 5 fold orange and mint essential oils, two of my top 5 favourites! Together they smell incredibly invigorating — bright orange and cool mint. 🍊🍃
I’ve added a sprinkle of poppy seeds, for gentle exfoliation.
