Back in 2016, when Paulin Leuridan set out to build Pain Paulin, his ex*********st little bakery in Petit Piquey, on the road to Lège-Cap-Ferret, he teamed up with French architecture practice ciguë (ciguë architecture) to bring it to life.
We got to be part of that: our Green Rhino lamps light the space, and it was a genuinely nice collaboration working with both Paulin and the ciguë team to get them right.
So it’s great to see the project featured, all these years later, in Gestalten’s (gestalten) new book, ‘Baked In: Designing Bakeries for Taste and Space’.
Thank you Paulin and ciguë for having us along for this one.
