Life’s hard. Make it harder. Start a business.

Because why settle for a little stress when you can have deadlines, decisions, sleepless nights and 100 tabs open in your head at all times?

Some days I feel like I’ve got this. Other days… not so much.

But seeing an idea slowly turn into something real makes it all worth it.

Would I do it again? Absolutely.
Would I recommend it? Depends on the day. 😂

Summer photo dump.

We’ve been pretty quiet on Instagram lately, but behind the scenes this has probably been the biggest and mentally the toughest month we’ve ever had at The Candle Salon Group.

We’ve been working day and night to get everything ready for the launch of our new brand, MADOO. Every decision felt important. Wax from Italy or England? Embossing or debossing? Do we produce 1,000 or 5,000 units? Every choice has an impact on how a brand starts.

In between all of that, we tried to enjoy summer and spend time with the family. But if I’m honest, my mind never really stopped working. Building a brand is exciting, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility.

After almost three years, we’re finally in the last stage. Soon we’ll be able to share the result with you, and I can’t wait.

Thank you to everyone who’s been following along, supporting us, and patiently waiting. We’re almost there.

A beautiful summer day .nl , filled with creativity, craftsmanship, and connection.

Today, our creative hub was buzzing with inspiring workshops. While we’ve been busy hosting candle-making workshops ourselves, it was refreshing to switch roles and become students for a change.

From customizing caps to screen-printing our own T-shirts, it was a reminder that creativity thrives when we keep learning, experimenting, and making things with our hands.

Most importantly, seeing so many people enjoying themselves, discovering new skills, and connecting with fellow makers made today extra special.

Here’s to creative communities, lifelong learning, and turning ideas into something tangible.

Trying to get everything aligned:
Which box belongs to which product?
What size do we need?
What feels luxury, functional and unforgettable at the same time?

Building a new line is exciting, chaotic, inspiring and very detailed all at once, but we’re getting there step by step

The vision is becoming real and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
