For a moment, I almost quit Old Goods…
That turned into three years.
Three years ago, we bought a house that we transformed for a care facility. Renovating, the birth of our third child, and meanwhile no income—because the business had come to a standstill.Intense. But we made it through.
Great—but honestly: I miss it! The search The find The trade
Because this is what I love most.
Scouring markets at home and abroad. Treasure hunting. That rush when you come across something special. Chatting and joking around with dealers and customers.
So: Old Goods is coming back. And this time, on my terms.
No hassle with opening hours or a physical shop. Just online and by appointment.
A place where I build my own collection: special, old items with a story. Things you don’t look for, but stumble upon.
My own Wunderkammer.
I am—and always will be—a trader, so for the right price, everything will eventually be for sale.
Almost all of my old inventory has been sold. There are still a few pieces left, but otherwise I’m starting from scratch. No workshop—everything needs to be built up again.
A fresh start.
The best part? Hitting the road again with my old man. Laughing, talking, and hunting for great pieces.
In the coming Period i will be collecting the first 50 items, be building a new webshop and try tl figure everything out as well as possible.
And you’ll get to see all of it.
What do you want to see? The hunt? The stories? Or just the best finds?
