A new experience is about to unfold ✨

Tomorrow is the day! The first phase of the renewed restaurant at Thermen Maarssen | Wellnessresort officially opens its doors.

A special project for which we created an entirely new interior concept. Serenity, warmth and natural materials form the foundation, complemented by refined details and a few bold statements.

The balance between yin and yang runs throughout the design. Soft, organic shapes meet striking architectural elements, while carefully considered sightlines towards the water and surrounding nature create a beautiful connection between indoors and outdoors.

A place where wellness and hospitality come together, with enjoyment at the heart of it all.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together with all the parties involved in such a short time. And this is just the beginning… Phase two will follow in mid-2027.

Can’t wait to see it come to life! 🤎

Slowly coming to life. 🤎

There is something very special about the moment when a design that has existed for months only on paper and in images suddenly starts becoming a real space.

Our design for the renewed restaurant at the hotel is gradually taking shape. The space is beginning to speak, materials and details are coming together, and with every site visit we see more of what we envisioned months ago becoming reality.

Still a work in progress, but the atmosphere we imagined for this place is becoming more tangible with every step.

For us as a design studio this is one of the most beautiful stages of the building process.

Quietly but bold. Softly and sophisticated.
Because it’s never just about how a space looks, but how it makes you feel. Warmth, curves and tactile textures come together with soft powdery tones, creating a sense of calm and softness throughout the interior.

Sometimes luxury isn’t about what you add, but about how everything comes together.
Light that follows the architecture. Wood that flows seamlessly throughout. Texture that reveals itself only when you come closer.
And a staircase that is more than just a connection between two floors.
Quiet details. Strong design.

The kitchen is the heart of this home. In this design, we combined clean lines, soft colours, and warm accents to create a space that feels both elegant and inviting. A place where thoughtful design and everyday living come together effortlessly.

LOVE FOR ART
Art gives a space a piece of its owners’s soul, bringing personality into the interior. It adds tension, softness, colour and emotion, making a space feel not only beautiful, but truly alive. To us, art is the layer that gives a design its own story.
