It started with a simple question. Why?

Why are we reusing beer bottles while throwing away 440 million wine bottles a year?

Why do we melt glass in polluting furnaces?

Why does hardly anyone know the environmental impact of glass?

Those questions became Rebottled.

Three new glasses, one story.

Introducing our glassware made from 100% recycled glass. Not every bottle survives in one piece, but that doesn’t mean its story has to end. We rescue broken bottles that would otherwise go to waste, and transform the shards into new glassware. No new raw materials needed, saving significantly on CO2 and energy compared to producing virgin glass.

Did you know less than 1% of glassware is naturally colored?

Most colored glass out there is spray-painted with a coating, ours is 100% natural. Hold them both up to the sun and you’ll see it instantly. Ours catches the light. Theirs doesn’t.
