We’ve been working intensively in the studio on a range of projects, from furniture collages and custom-made furniture to technical drawings and presentations. Alongside the making and detailing, there has been plenty of time spent developing ideas and exploring new possibilities.

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting in Switzerland to discover the story behind its modular system.

What began as a vision for flexible factory architecture by Fritz Haller evolved from large -scale buildings to modular furniture. During an exclusive factory tour and an visit to the Buchli House, we experienced firsthand how precision, flexibility and timeless design connect architecture and furniture.

TOTO by Ingo Maurer - The bulb with ears.

This special lamp brings a smile to everyone’s face. The small table lamp combines the typical Ingo Maurer characteristics of humour and poetry. It was designed as part of a group of small lighting objects by Ingo Maurer, which were first presented in 2014.

We installed this custom-made bench, specially designed for a side room next to the kitchen. The bench was completely made to measure and organically wraps around the existing column.

Soon in our showroom!

Ida is a technically demanding woven rug, constructed in 100 % premium wool. Inspired by the Scandinavian traditional Rölakan weaving technique, the design is woven from a detailed sketch. The complex pattern is manually guided on the loom, each colour change requiring the weaver’s direct attention - a constant dialogue between eye, hand and material.

From this new collection, featuring four colour combinations inspired by the seasons, Winter will soon be on display in our showroom.

Bathroom in The Hague

The elegant rounding of the shower wall provides spaciousness. Where we looked for an optimal layout of the floor plan to accommodate a free standing bath, shower and sink. The various custom elements such as rails, shelves and cabinets ensure the optimal use of the space.

The design features a foundation of colored tiles measuring 5x5 cm. These tiles are arranged in a random pattern for a playful and unique look. The green hue from the tiles is echoed in both the window frame and the vertical tiles of the shower wall.

The “Equipement intérieur d’une habitation” by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand was the trio’s first public presentation of the tubular metal furniture at the Salon d’Automne (1929).

At the time it was received with much scandal, due to its unexpected and criticised minimalism, but it soon became a symbol of iconic design.
