We focus is on the urban environment of both small and large-scale indoor and outdoor spaces. Dutch designer Maja Kozel is the founder and spatial designer of Maja Kozel Design. She graduated in spatial design from the prestigious Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam the Netherlands. Since then she worked in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, before moving to Dubai in 2008.

Enfold Pavilion by .dubai at D3 Dubai during Dubai Design week 2024.

Exploring ‘phy-gital therapy,’ this installation featured an AI-powered ‘second skin’ fabric that connects body and tech. Inspired by biomimicry, its spiky outer shell held a calming core, with circular geometry symbolizing unity. Made from corrugated cardboard, the design embraced natural light and innovation 🌟

Blue skies, scattered clouds. Like spaces made of air, endlessly changing. From Hong Kong’s vertical maze to Dubai’s sunlit arches, now beneath the Dutch breeze, I sketch spaces that float, frame, and flow. Designing the day away, where each cloud is an idea passing by.
