Four bedrooms. Four colours. Not one drop of white.

The enveloping tones chose themselves. I wasn’t looking for a statement — I was looking for serenity, something timeless, and real comfort. In the night wing of a family home, that’s the whole job.

The mahogany ceilings were already there, so every colour had to answer to them. One rule, nothing else: stay in the same tonality and nothing can clash.

What if your laundry room, garage, or utility closet became one of your favorite spots at home?

We often ignore these “technical” rooms – but they play a big part in how smooth (or chaotic 😅) everyday life feels.

With the right layout, lighting, and smart storage, they can become beautiful, organized and practical.

That’s my goal at JR Interior Design – especially when I design for expat families who need flexible and efficient homes.

“Green is the new gray.” I recently read this quote and it shocked me! For me, green is much more than just an alternative to gray! It comes in a multitude of shades capable of transforming an atmosphere.

💚 Sage Green for an enveloping and soothing atmosphere.
💚 Olive Green for a warm and welcoming touch.
💚 Citrus Green for a pop ambiance.
💚 Emerald Green for a luxurious look.
💚Mint Green for a fresh and clean style.

Warm wood, natural tones, and timeless elegance—every detail was designed to recreate that refined, welcoming feel with an exotic touch.

Thank you for this great adventure! 4 years already!

It’s been a while since I posted here... Because I was absorbed by great projects and the desire to focus on my clients. But today, for the 4th anniversary of my company, I wanted to come back and share with you what I learned!

❌ Mistake 1: Poor lighting
✅ Incorporate various light sources. Play with dimmers to adjust the ambiance.

❌ Mistake 2: Designing with resale in mind
✅ Design for YOU, for now.

❌ Mistake 3: Lack of green
✅ Bring more plants, flowers, decor items related to nature. You will feel the effects very quickly.

❌Mistake 4: Impractical furniture choices
✅ Focus not only on the look but also on functionality.
