A new interior for Broadwater. During her extensive refit at Huisfit by Royal Huisman, the 56m / 184ft Feadship underwent a major interior conversion, combining substantial technical work with a refreshed exterior profile too.
The project is a good example of how an existing yacht can be reimagined to better suit the owner’s evolving wishes, while preserving the qualities that made the yacht special in the first place.

A look back at Ethereal in Amsterdam. These photos show the world’s first hybrid superyacht at the start and end of an earlier visit to the Huisfit facilities. Built by Royal Huisman and launched in 2008, Ethereal remains a pioneer in innovation, comfort and ocean-going capability.
During a refit, Huisfit supports not only the yacht, but also her crew. From practical assistance to hospitality and comfortable accommodation close to the shipyard, every detail helps make time in Amsterdam as smooth and efficient as possible.
Captain Peter Grubb adds about the crew accommodation during the refit: “Really easy: you could be downtown Amsterdam in 15 to 20 minutes from the apartments. And also close to the shipyard: I rode my bike every day.”

Atlantide during her remarkable transformation at Huisfit. Nearly 94 years after her original launch, the 37m / 122ft motorsailer was carefully renewed by skilled artisans, engineers and specialists with deep respect for her historic character.
A rebuild of this scale is never simply about replacing what time has changed. It is about understanding the soul of a yacht, preserving her elegance and preparing her for a new chapter at sea.
From structural work to fine detailing, every step reflects the Huisfit approach: craftsmanship, care and the knowledge to bring a classic yacht back to life.
