A candlestick is never just a candlestick.
This little DIY has become one of my favorite functional pieces. I keep my scissors right where I need them, and I love swapping out the baking twine with the seasons—neutral for everyday, festive for Christmas, perfect at a wrapping station.
Such a sweet piece to make for yourself… or as a thoughtful handmade gift for a friend 🤍

How I Did It:
✨ Grab a small brass candlestick.
✨ Glue a tiny wooden rod or dowel inside the holder.
✨ Add a spool of baking twine to the rod.
✨ Slide scissors into the rod or secure them in a small hole/slot.
✨ Swap out the twine seasonally—neutral for everyday, festive for holidays!
✨ Place on your counter, craft table, or wrapping station.

🍂 DIY Rustic Fall Buckets 🌾✨

Made with what nature gave me — wild grass instead of corn stalks, driftwood sticks from the recent storm, and a few trusty metal buckets. Rocks keep everything standing tall, and voila — a cozy, handmade fall walkway!

STEPS ~
🌾✨
Gather wild grass, sticks, buckets , fishing line & rocks

Fill buckets halfway with rocks to anchor sticks
Add Grass

Place sticks upright & secure with rocks

Add Grass to the bucket like your making a giant bouquet
tuck in the grass for full, windswept look, use fishing line to tie together in the middle and at the bottom

Style & place them up along your walkway or entrance
Add pumpkins, lanterns, or twine for extra charm ✨
