The “before” photos of the home office can be found at the end of the carousel. As part of the renovation of a private residence, we designed a multifunctional workspace that integrates a working area, a relaxation zone, and a compact walk-in wardrobe. The color concept originated from a previous project for the client’s daughter, where we introduced a yellow ceiling to compensate for limited natural light on the north side and create a sense of warmth and sunlight. The idea resonated so strongly that the client requested to bring the same feeling into her own office. However, due to the pronounced sloped geometry of the space, highlighting only the ceiling would have emphasized the heaviness of the structure. Instead, we selected a soft, muted yellow tone and applied it throughout the entire room to visually dissolve the architectural constraints and unify the volume. The final touch will be an accent wall with wallpaper from Svenskt Tenn, adding a refined layer of pattern and a vibrant, uplifting atmosphere.

A transformation of a classic: a 450 sqm manor house

This magnificent 450-square-meter manor house became our source of inspiration. Entrusted with the responsibility of shaping its new interior, we took on a comprehensive design journey—from the initial site measurements to developing interior sketches, conceptualizing design solutions, and creating detailed 3D visualizations. Once the designs were approved, we prepared a complete set of working drawings to ensure a seamless realization of our vision. These were accompanied by meticulously curated specifications for materials, furniture, lighting, and wall decor, forming a fully documented interior design package delivered to the client for implementation. Throughout the process, we remained actively involved, supporting the project during ex*****on and maintaining close communication with the client.

Faced with an exciting challenge, we sought to preserve the authentic charm of English classicism while seamlessly integrating modern elements.

Now, the project is fully completed. The house has been divided into two two-story apartments, each offering a unique interior solution for its future residents. It brings us great joy to see this project frequently featured on our client’s social media—Instagram: . Their appreciation and pride in the final result mean the world to us.

Creating projects that resonate so deeply with our clients is truly rewarding. Photographer:

At the end of the carousel, you will find the “before” images, a typical Scandinavian interior of a forest house just one hour from Oslo. This is where a young family came to me with a desire to create a more personal, aesthetic and inspiring space.

The design brief was clear: to connect the interior with the surrounding nature, introduce character and a sense of understated luxury through vintage pieces and subtle English classic details, while keeping the space light, fresh and modern.

The solution came through a bold botanical print that brings the forest indoors, a rich natural color palette, and a refined balance of vintage elements with minimalist contemporary lighting and forms, complemented by window muntins and decorative moldings.

The bedroom became the heart of the concept, a space for rest, inspiration and quiet beauty.

The result is an interior that doesn’t just meet the brief, but elevates it. And the most meaningful feedback:
“Wow… it feels like you read my mind, and even went beyond.”

There is no greater joy for an architect than seeing that spark in a client’s eyes, the moment they can’t wait to bring the project to life. 💚

In the next posts, I will share the rest of the house ..

This transformation happened under our careful supervision. Swipe to see how the bathroom was completely updated, and scroll to the end of the carousel for the “before” photos. One of the coolest details is the built-in laundry chute in the corner: open the small door, drop in the laundry, and it goes straight down to the laundry room on level -1 🤍

Scroll to the end of the carousel. The last slides show the 3D visualization we started with. This is one of my studio projects. a full renovation of both the house architecture and the interior. The clients moved through the renovation slowly, step by step, with pauses. That is why we developed the space in 3D in advance. so they always had a clear goal, a plan, and a complete picture of the result to return to at any moment. Now the project is finished. In the first photos you see the real outcome, and at the end of the carousel. the “route” that helped them stay on course until the final result. If you want to achieve a beautiful result without chaos or costly rework. send me a DM and I will prepare a design project and 3D visualization tailored to your home.

Interior design project for the public areas of a residential apartment building on Pilestredet, Oslo. Together with my team, I developed the design concept and overall direction for the common spaces and entrance lobby, and we created the sketches and visualizations shown here.
