We track our steps, our sleep, and our calories. But why not the air we breathe? We inhale around 2,000 gallons of air each day. If we don’t know what’s in it, then it’s impossible to know if it might be affecting our health. Start monitoring your bedroom or living room air quality, and it might surprise you.

⌚We track our steps, calories, and sleep. So, why don't we track our air?

Every day, we breathe in roughly 2,000 gallons of air. If you don't know what's in your air, it's impossible to know what might be affecting your health. For example:
1️⃣ High CO2 levels (above 1,000 ppm) are linked to brain fog and drowsiness. This also affects sleep quality.
2️⃣ Humidity levels over 60% create the ideal environment for mold growth; and mold is something you really DON'T WANT in your home.

View Plus tracks CO2, humidity, radon, fine particles and more, helping you see what's actually in your living room or bedroom's air and knowing whether your air is good, or if some fixes are needed. Curious about your air quality? Comment below!

Pope Leo XIV's recent lung cancer diagnosis has many people asking: how can someone that never smoked get lung cancer?
It's actually more common than most of us assume. Up to 1 in 5 lung cancer diagnoses are in people who have never or barely smoked. Risk factors include secondhand smoke, radon, air pollution, workplace exposures and family history.
Whether you're a smoker or not, if you have a persistent cough, chest pain, or regularly feel breathless, then it's worth raising with your doctor.

A new study from Oregon State University followed more than 159,000 women in the US for nearly 18 years. Those living in areas with higher estimated radon levels had a greater risk of brain and central nervous system cancers, even in homes that registered below the EPA’s 4 pCi/L action level.

The study shows a link, but not proof of cause. Radon is one risk you can measure at home. Testing your home for radon means you can take control of a known carcinogen.

🍂 Radon season is here.

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers, and because you can’t see or smell it, many people never know it’s there. Nearly 1 in 15 US homes has radon at or above the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L (150 Bq/m³).

The good news is that checking your home is simple. Corentium Home 2 and the radon insights in the Airthings app let you follow your levels over time and understand what to do next.
