Vi er glade over å presentere - i samarbeid med Insomniafestivalen - kunstner Mo’ong Santosa Privadi (Idn), som skal holde workshop i vårt lokale på Tromsø Kunstforening. Fredag og lørdag fra klokka 12 til 17 kommer det til å bygges ”Sound Making Objects” med materialer fra banken. Les mer om prosjektet og hvordan du melder deg på i facebook-eventet.
(...og om du har noe liggende hjemme, på studio eller i hagen, som kan transformeres til et sound making object er du veldig velkommen til å donere dette til Materialbanken på Tromsø Kunstforening i løpet av onsdag og torsdag mellom 12 og 17!)

NB: LIMITED CAPACITY, PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND BOTH DAYS OF THE WORKSHOP In this playful workshop, we will focus on creating objects that produce sound. With help of simple electronics and contact microphones the workshop will teach participants how to tap into a world of sound. Culminating in a small performance, the workshop will introduce and invite the community to channel a form of freedom in the form of sound through the sound-making object, without the limitations of conventional music.
Bangkok-born and Java-raised, Johanes “Mo’ong” Santoso Pribadi is an experimental music composer and instrument builder. His main area of study is music Nusantara, or the music of Insomnia
At Insomnia Festival 2024, Mo’ong will also as part of the duo Takkak Takkak in DRIV on Saturday night.
The Sound-Making Objects Workshop is presented through the Cloud: Exit programme. Cloud: Exit is a part of Insomnia Festivals efforts to help develop and nurture new talents in the electronic music scene of northern Norway. The programme is made possible with support from SNN Samfunnsløftet and Talent Norway.
