This one is packed up and on its way north for the ANZEG conference exhibition. It felt like nothing went as planned while stitching this one. The mistakes are glaring at me, but there's also a lot in there that I'm proud of.

Took a little road trip to visit a couple of embroidery exhihibitions this weekend.
First stop was the Forrester Gallery in Oamaru for the ANZEG Extentsions exhibition. Some very cool things being done with stitch in that group!
Next up was a stop at Aigantighe Art Gallery for the Blue Challenge exhibition, which I had a piece in. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of these pieces!

I've come home feeling inspired and full of new ideas and incredibly motivated to get to work on some new pieces. I learned so much from seeing these exhibitions, I can't wait to get stitching! 🪡🪡🪡

New pattern!!! Finally, I got around to getting this one up in my Etsy shop. Now you can stitch your very own Thylacine skull 💀 ☠️ 💀
This is a quick and easy stitch, incorporating both cross and backstitch. The finished stitch fits perfectly in a circle hoop or a square frame.

This piece is on sale this week for the fundraising show

I enjoyed revisiting this embroidery and giving a new frame that suits it so much better than the hoop I had it in originally.

Day trip to Alexandra today to see the Otago Southland Regional Embroidery exhibition. It was my first time participating in anything like this and feel very honoured to have won the miniature category with my tiny Tempus Fugit piece.

It was a great start to the day to wake up to a 5 star Etsy review, but what really made my day was seeing this finished piece 😍 I love love LOVE this colour choice, and seeing my pattern stitched by someone else had me riding high all day!!
