Hello baked good lovers!

We did it! 🎉🥳🎊

We've moved into our new house, celebrated our Delightful Delilah's birthday, and ticked off another verification for my kitchen and business. It's all been a bit busy, a bit chaotic, but very exciting!

Now for the bad news...
I was hoping to have everything moved and set up by the end of last week so I'd be ready for baking this week, but a few things have been delayed.

So please excuse me from the markets this weekend. I'm just not quite ready yet!
Thank you all for your patience while I get everything sorted. I promise I'll be back before you know it, better than ever and raring to go! ❤️

As most of you will be aware, Connor and I have bought our first family home 🥹🏡
Next week is moving week, which means I’ll be hanging up my apron for a couple of weeks while we settle into our new home.
This weekend will be my last weekend at the Ohoka Market and Amberley Market for TWO weeks!

Over that time I’ll be busy packing, unpacking, and trying to get everything organised, so I probably won’t be very quick at replying to messages, orders, or quote requests. I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I’m back in business.

I just want to say thank you so much for supporting me and my wee family through every adventure so far. It truly means a lot 🩷

Come on down to the Ohoka Market and Amberley Market this weekend and stock up on your favourite baking while you can 🍪

Going hand in hand with buying a house… I now need to fill it with little treasures 🤣💛

So, while I’m out spending money tomorrow, I figured I may as well recoup some of the costs to keep Connor happy (Just kidding Connor I will leave my wallet at home 😅 )

🌟✨️WHAT'S HAPPENING FOR PAIGE'S PANTRY🌟✨️

Number 1:

Connor and I bought a house! 🥹👏 We stumbled upon our dream home and snapped it up! We aren’t moving until mid May and the moving process will be slow. Paige’s Pantry will still operate as normal, but there might be a couple of weeks with lower stock at the markets and maybe a weekend without me while I work out the logistics. 🎉🎉🎉

Number 2:

I feel like the busy season is wrapping up, and considering this time last year I was thinking about finishing up my baking career and getting a “full time job” for convenience, I’m so pleased I stuck to my guns and found a way to push through and create something even more wonderful than I could have imagined. I am so grateful for each and every purchase. It’s not just about making money, it’s about immersing myself in my community and being creative.

Number 3:

The website… it’s been sitting on the back burner ready to launch, I just haven’t had the time to give it my full attention. I still need to find a local business to team up with for a pickup point for my baked goods that isn’t my home, to make it more convenient than the market. That way you can get my bakes every day, not just on the weekends.🤔🫡❓️

Number 4:

I still have some pretty cool stuff in the works. I’m planning to bring out a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly range “for the whānau”, which will be everyday eating bakes with lower sugar, better ingredients, and more focused on lunchbox fillers for both adults and kids. As well as the Baker’s Club, which I’m planning to be a surprise box of baking that is more elevated from my usual range 😱 my creative freedom in a box. 🔮✨️🧁

Number 5:

PRICE INCREASE 💲💵💰

Because my overheads are lower than most cafes and bakeries, I’ve been able to keep my prices on the lower side. I have tried to hold off as long as I can, but my end of year taxes and my accountant have made it clear that I will need a slight increase. It won’t be massive or across my full range, but there will be some changes. Please be kind, I hate doing this.
Anyway, there is a lot going on behind the scenes.

Some days I’m moving mountains to reach my goals and some days I’m wrangling a teething toddler, but every day is another step forward and another happy customer.

Sold out today… 🥹🥹🥹 thank you everyone!

I’ll be up all night baking, so please excuse the tired eyes and slight delusion tomorrow… at least there’ll be heaps of baking!

Along with plenty of Easter treats, I’ve made a fabulous custard square with your name on it 😉🎉

Also a little heads up my float is very light on coins 🪙 so if you’ve got gold coins hiding in those piggy banks, bring them along 🎉

Otherwise, eftpos is all good too 👍

Did you miss me at the markets last week…?

I thought I’d better explain myself! 🤭

Towards the end of last year my great-auntie passed away, and over the weekend we headed to Akaroa to scatter her ashes. It ended up being such a lovely few days with family. Lots of catching up, a few laughs, beautiful views, and yes… a couple of glasses of bubbles in there too.

Anyway.......I’m back this week!
Friday — Ohoka
Saturday — Amberley
Sunday — Avebury House

I’ve also got some exciting personal things in the works at the moment 👀 I’ll share more soon, but things are definitely moving behind the scenes.

So if it’s felt a bit quieter from me lately, that’s why....just been doing a bit more life stuff 💛

Congratulations C & E 🥹🤍

It was such a privilege to make my friends wedding cake and to be able to slow down and truly enjoy celebrating the love and union of two incredible people 💗

It’s a very nerve-wracking thing being at the wedding where your cake is being served 😅 Watching it get cut, plated, and tasted right in front of you! But not only did this cake taste amazing, it looked so beautiful too. I am absolutely beaming with pride.

We all know my baking is filled with love, and I truly put my heart and soul into everything Paige’s Pantry 😭💗

2026 so far is blowing me away, and I’m so proud to be Paige - The owner of Paige’s Pantry 🥂
