Upcycled kids jeans! This little creation has been seven years in the making! I first saw these little skirts in Hawkes Bay seven years ago but found little jeans hard to find in op shops. Over the last two years I have been collecting a supply and today finally found the courage to start making them. Over the last week I have churned out 16 pairs of shorts for 2 - 4 year old boys. These are from a couple of fabrics I found in my stash. Now it's time for me to concentrate on something new but something that has been in the back of my mind for about 7 years! You will just have to wait and see what it is!

Usually a Wednesday is my day to create - it's also the only day in the week I have to myself. Today I cleaned the bathrooms, spent several hours unblocking a drain (finally had success so saved on calling a plumber), walked the dog and mowed the lawns. Finally at 4.50 I managed to sew two pair of shorts! I also found this gorgeous camellia in the garden.

Mixing it up again and today I'm featuring two lovely skirts made for my lovely friend Susan.

At upcoming fetes I will have a selection of skirts on the racks or you can choose your fabric from my stash and have a made to measure skirt. All skirts are the same style - pull on with a nice comfy band around the waist.
