My 9 year old neurodiverse daughter doesn't eat any vegetables at all. I'm on a mission to try to get some veggies into her diet and sweet treats are the best way to try. Yesterday I tried these pumpkin donuts success, she ate them!
Easy to make and I used my new batter dispenser for the first time and there was a lot less mess getting the batter into the donut tray.

Anyone got any other sweet treat suggestions that have a vegetable in them besides carrot cake ?

If you like pork then this is a must try recipe. If you follow the cookidoo recipe it's an all in one dinner that uses the varoma to cook rice while the mixing bowl cooks the pork in a sticky sauce. Very yummy. I tried an alternative last night which was even better. I used a standard steamed rice recipe to cook that first then just followed the sauce part of the recipe without adding the pork. I cooked the pork pieces in the air fryer for 15 mins on 200 degrees. Nice and crunchy.
How do you like your pork belly, soft or crispy?

I bought a bag of 6 capsicums for only $5 this week and searched cookidoo for a dinner option. I will definitely make these stuffed capsicums again but I will try using Browning mode to cook the filling and the varoma to steam the capsicum as I prefer more texture than the steamed version. The tomato sauce was so smooth with great flavor. I would also just use the regular steamed rice recipe.

This is a great quick and easy dish to make. I eat it for breakfast or lunch with a side salad. I use bacon bits so no need to chop up bacon strips and I add a chopped carrot and extra cheese on top. Cut it into squares and freeze portions for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Has anyone else ever had flies get into their TM7? I had the middle lid on and when I took it off to serve up my 5 hour slow cooked beef cheeks there were 3 floating flies in there. We had a lot of flies in the house today because we had to leave the back door open for the puppy. I never imagined they could get inside the bowl though. Dinner ruined.😭

Have you tried Pearl cous cous before?
I prefer it to the regular smaller variety. This salad is a quick weekday meal. I don't really like kale (I know how terrible of me) but I do like baby spinach. I substituted the kale for spinach which meant I just needed to make the dressing and fry the halloumi while the couscous was cooking. Pomegranates are the best but if you don't have any just use dried cranberries.
I am definitely adding this meal in as a regular!

Turn this humble Coffee date muffin into a super quick and easy dessert by adding caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. My new favorite. Add all the ingredients, mix for seconds and put in the oven. Make the caramel sauce (7 mins) while the muffins are in the oven. Easy, peasy lemon squeezy!

The latest thermomix magazine has some great cocktails in it. The lychee mojito is a great variation. I just made it for our online cocktail class and it was so refreshing.
