Happy Friday — yes, I’m in my outdoor Uggs again.
What a week! I’ve dipped my toes into Meta ads (sorry if you’ve been blasted by them). To my new followers and everyone who’s liked a post, shared something, or placed an order — thank you.

I’ve had new customers coming from all over Auckland and I’ve absolutely loved it. Still a little more work to do, but here’s a big Friday cheers from me.

What does being a sustainable florist actually look like? 🌿

It’s not always glamorous… but it matters. 💚

At Mel’s Flower Truck, I’m always looking for ways to reduce waste and make better choices behind the scenes.

🌱 Green waste is separated and kept out of landfill
♻️ Plastic flower wrap gets separated and sent back for recycling

I’m definitely not perfect, but I believe small changes add up. And when you’re working with flowers every day, it feels pretty important to look after the environment that helps make them so beautiful. 🌸

Sustainable floristry isn’t about being perfect — it’s about doing better where we can.
