“WEEDS”

Spring, in another form. A celebration of weeds.

An unassuming clump atop a mound of dirt on a construction site, or a flash of yellow petals dancing through the fence line at a train station. Often overlooked, these small moments of wildness catch our eye.

As florists, we are drawn to abundance. Yet this can be difficult to achieve with commercially grown flowers, shaped by price, availability and trends. Meanwhile, the foraged and the unassuming are often overlooked, their value rarely recognised.

WEEDS was an invitation to look again. To find beauty in the ordinary and celebrate the unruly generosity of the season.

What a weekend future_flowering 💛 it felt like more than just an exhibition. It was a bringing together of our community to engage and delight in our craft and give the public a chance to enjoy it alongside us.

Thank you Cecilia Fox for your dedication to the floral design community. It really doesn’t go unnoticed.
