Everyone loves a good before and after. But what about the stories in between?
When I first met the client, she’d already been through the design process once before. The concept had squared everything off, and in doing that, she felt she was going to lose what made the space special in the first place.
So we reworked it. Looked at how the space actually wanted to function, brought the curves and angles back into focus, and let the architecture lead the decisions. Nothing overcomplicated, just considered choices, texture where it mattered, and details that felt like they belonged.
This is one of those transformations that doesn’t scream for attention, but feels completely different to live in.
