Our client presented us these two unusual royal Dalton 1950s/60s bases, and after months of collaboration we decided on this oatmilk linen for the shade fabric. The original brief was for a pattern with colours but that just overshadowed/clashed with the bases. The shades are plain but have texture so when lit the texture shines through, keeping the integrety of the unique colorful bases.

Our client finally gets to collect this beauty ... been ready to go for weeks！ Steve polished up the lamp base and I stripped, re－lined, and covered the shade with the client‘s choice of fabric. Elegant, clean, modern but still antique－looking. Had it sitting in our lounge for a while now, we will miss it.

This stand (The Minstrel) has just been picked up by our dear friend and now stands proud in her living room. After an in-home consultation and recommendations, our collective vision has pulled through. Beautifully restored base by Steve having stripped and re-painted black leaving some of the wood bare but waxed. New shade by Lisa with material to suit the theme of the lounge. Very happy with this one!

Happy with how this repainted stand turned out. The new colour is French Vanilla, and the height of these gives a good bedside throw of illumination.

Very stable lamps with a large metal plate on the wide base, and switch on cord for easy reach from the bed. But they can be table or lounge lamps too.
We have 10 of these, and they can be any colour.

$99 plus the shade ($69-$99 depending on material)

This old chocolate lacquer covered blonde oak stand is getting a custom job for our family friend Tricia
First it’s been stripped of all the dark brown yuck, then it’s just had its first coat of satin black.
We’ve balanced the shade for it on top just to show how it’s coming along, the parts unpainted will be waxed a dark brown - some design ideas still pending. Can’t wait to see how this pans out - it’s our first black themed tall stand
