Another TIDA NZ Awards finalist.

Designed for returning clients, this kitchen was all about creating a warm, relaxed space that reflects its coastal setting, while refining layout and functionality for everyday living.

A galley layout anchors the design, with a generous island and three-sided seating creating a natural place to gather. Natural materials take the lead, with Kalahari quartzite carried across the benchtop and splashback, paired with Macrocarpa veneer and soft white cabinetry for a calm, balanced palette.

Thoughtfully planned storage and custom detailing ensure the space works effortlessly, with a separate scullery supporting the main kitchen behind the scenes.

A considered, functional space designed to feel easy, warm, and beautifully liveable.

Another TIDA NZ Awards finalist — and one we’re really proud of.

Designed in collaboration with Cathryn Davey from Re-vision, this kitchen transforms a structural central wall into a sculptural, furniture-like feature, while improving flow, prep space, and everyday functionality.

Soft curves carry throughout the design, paired with a warm, layered material palette including custom-stained Ripple Flex Oak, Melteca finishes, and a striking Calacatta Verde marble splashback.

A calm, considered space where form and function come together beautifully.

Our David Reid Homes North Shore + West showhome kitchen has been named a finalist in the TIDA NZ Kitchen Awards.

Inspired by a Palm Springs aesthetic, this space was all about creating a relaxed, welcoming flow through the home—soft curves, natural textures, and a balance of warmth and modern detail. From the sweeping oak wall through to the curved island and layered finishes, every element was designed to feel calm, connected, and inviting.

This well-loved kitchen in a character home was ready for a renovation, reimagined for modern family living while still respecting the original charm of the house.

The brief was to make a compact space work harder — improving flow, increasing storage, and creating a layout that feels open and connected to the rest of the home.

An L-shaped design was developed to make the most of the existing footprint, improving circulation and helping the kitchen feel more connected to the surrounding living spaces.

Function was key throughout. A bifold pantry with internal drawers, a dedicated coffee nook, and well-planned storage solutions keep everyday use simple and practical.

A peninsula anchors the space, bringing in natural light and creating a relaxed spot for seating and connection.

Material choices were carefully curated by Cathryn Davey of Re-vision, combining warm timber tones, textured benchtops, and soft white finishes to sit comfortably within the character of the home.

The result is a compact but highly functional kitchen that feels warm, considered, and easy to live in.

I was so lucky to see this kitchen in person last week and take some extra snaps 🤍

Designed with a Japandi-inspired approach, this space is all about calm, simplicity, and living well. Clean lines, handle-free cabinetry, and a single material palette keep everything feeling seamless and uncluttered.

Melteca Aged Ash brings warmth and texture, balanced beautifully with Dekton Albarium benchtops and splashback for a soft, refined finish.

Thoughtful details make all the difference—like the integrated negative handles, framed overheads, and a dedicated coffee nook paired with hidden appliance storage to keep everything effortlessly tidy.

Minimal, but never cold. Functional, but still beautiful.

Our clients came to us wanting a kitchen that truly fit their family’s life — and we were all in! 💛

We reworked the layout completely, knocking down walls, adding a curved scullery entry, a dedicated fridge nook, and soft, flowing curves from the sculpted rangehood to the island and doorway. Every detail was designed for both movement and warmth.

The island is the star: wrapped in Ravenna Travertine Square Mosaic tiles from ABI Interiors, paired with Parisian Oak cabinetry and a Laminam Luna White slab, while the back bench features Engineered Stone Frosty Carrina. Finger tiles in the main kitchen and square tiles in the butler’s pantry add subtle layers of texture and detail.

The butler’s pantry keeps everything organised and practical, with open shelving and plenty of storage, while the coffee nook hides the daily machine but keeps it ready for action. Thoughtful lighting — vertical LEDs, halo lighting, and under-lighting — adds glow and warmth to every corner.

The result? A kitchen that’s practical, family-friendly, and effortlessly stylish — ready for everyday living and entertaining alike. ✨

✨ Just installed and we’re obsessed! ✨ Our amazing clients shared these photos of their new kitchen, and we can’t get over how sleek and effortless it is.

Our clients wanted a minimalist style that felt calm, uncluttered, and easy to work in – and we made it happen. Sleek Dekton Albarium 22 benchtops and splashback meet warm Melteca Aged Ash cabinetry in an organic finish. To keep the lines clean, we added push-to-open tall cabinetry, a sleek open shelf, and custom negative detail handles – even running the handle and toe kick along one side of the island for that seamless vibe.

Smooth Hettich Atira soft-close drawers make everyday life feel effortless, and the layout is a dream – complete with a dedicated coffee nook and a tall pantry right by the fridge for ultimate convenience.

Beautiful, functional, and made for modern living – we love seeing our clients enjoying their new space! ✨
