There’s always a certain energy that comes with 's Passenger Terminal Expo - and this year in London was no exception.

Across the exhibition, conversations centered on how airport environments are evolving to better support the way people move, wait, and experience travel. It was great to see our partners at Derlot right in the middle of that dialogue, presenting a thoughtful mix of new and existing collections.

From the introduction of Platform, Cocoon, and Trio, to the continued strength of Gateway, Twig, Stump, and Rio, the focus was clear - creating spaces that balance durability with comfort, and efficiency with moments of pause.

As passenger expectations continue to shift, it’s exciting to see design playing such a key role in shaping more considered, human-centred environments.

Looking forward to seeing how these conversations and ideas take shape in real projects ahead.

Last night we had the opportunity to attend a walkthrough at - a premium workspace in the heart of Midtown - hosted by , and it was nothing short of inspiring.

It’s always valuable to step into a space that challenges traditional workplace thinking. Designed by , Flex at Mosaic does exactly that. With contemporary design and hotel-style service, alongside considered zoning and beautifully executed collaboration areas, the environment felt intentionally designed to support both focus and connection.

A big thank you to and for sharing their insights and walking us through the thinking behind the space. It was particularly interesting to hear how flexibility, user experience, and adaptability shaped the design decisions throughout.

Thank you as well to the Workx team for hosting such a thoughtful and engaging evening. Opportunities like this to connect, learn, and experience new workplace environments firsthand are always incredibly valuable.

Great to see how the future of work continues to evolve and even better to experience it in person.

A brand we were excited to introduce — — but their story began long before that.

After graduating from industrial design together in 2007, and set out with a simple yet ambitious vision: to create a platform for independent Australian designers and build a brand that was both playful and enduring. What began in a small Sydney apartment garage soon evolved into something much bigger, a design studio shaped by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to do things differently.

Over the years, Design By Them has grown into a globally recognised brand, known for pieces that bring personality to spaces while standing the test of time. Their designs are joyful yet considered, bold yet refined - proof that thoughtful design can be both enduring and fun.

As DBT celebrates 18 years, their ‘DBT 18TH’ campaign marks a true coming-of-age. It reflects on the chaos, creativity, and lessons learned along the journey - finding beauty in the process and nostalgia in the moments that shaped them.

From a garage in Sydney to projects around the world, it’s a story of independence, collaboration, and design with character.

Here’s to 18 years of creativity and the next chapter still to come.

With its low-slung silhouette and softly contoured lines, the Ridge Sofa invites you to sink in. Designed by acclaimed Norm Architects, Ridge balances quiet elegance with an indulgent sense of comfort. True to Norm’s design philosophy, Ridge embraces a soft minimalism where every detail serves a purpose.

A single fl**ge edge running along the top edge draws the eye, forming a subtle ridge that defines the outline and lends the sofa its name.

Available as a lounge chair, a 2- and 3-seater sofa, as well as a generous corner module, Ridge is subtly elevated from the floor on a recessed wooden base. The design blends relaxed comfort with a composed, architectural presence.
