120 + makers/designers. Miranda and Marc opened MIXT NZ Made in Kingsland in February 2004. MIXT NZ Made stocks contemporary New Zealand made design, jewellery and gifts. We only sell products that were actually made in New Zealand! We are always looking at ways we can keep MIXT up-to-date and interesting for our customers. We are keen to source more contemporary NZ made items and are always looking for new designers and ranges that will suit our store.

Want to visit MIXT but don't like the idea of driving to Devonport? The new train stations and network configuration make it straightforward for a lot of our customers to use public transport. Over 65s can travel off-peak and on the weekend for free and because of the integrated fare system you either get your train trip to Waitemata or your ferry trip over to Devonport for free!
This is because the maximum fare for a single trip is $7.90. The only catch is you need to be tagged on the ferry within 30 minutes of tagging off at Waitemata. The 30 minute maximum gap between getting off the ferry and tagging on the train also applies for the return trip....
