Oil Painting is coming along nicely, shadows are proving hard, need to suss out how to do this grassy hill. Really enjoying these oils, they are so easy to blend.

First artwork in about a year..

not quite half way yet but learning as we go with Windsor & Newton oils & Lola for cuddles.
Next part will be exciting to paint with lots of finer details of soft velvet green fields, dark trees & sun rays ☺️

With my “Supervisor” checking my pencil movements & progress, this is the latest for my drawing of Jared & Legend.
With following the earlier abstract outline to line up the form of the face, it seems to be looking more & more like Legend (horse) I just need his nose a little bit longer.
Lola (supervisor) wants me to draw her next ☺️
