Established in 2001, The Furniture Store remains locally owned and operated. Between us (the two owners) we have over 40 years experience in the industry, both overseas and in New Zealand. Having worked in larger retail stores we understand that quite often once the customer has paid their deposit they are all to often left with the feeling of a 'couldn't care less' attitude of the retai
ler. It was because of this attitude we decided to try to focus on good 'old fashioned' service. Over 90% of our product can be delivered within 48 hours. There is no charge for delivery within the wider Auckland area, regardless of the size of purchase, and can if needed also be delivered on a Saturday. Over the years this has amounted to huge savings for our regular customers. We recognise that often customers need product delivered very quickly and with that in mind we do not have a 'frozen' stock policy, if you see it and like it we will deliver it straight away. Our prices are very competitive because we have no head office, no off site warehouse, and over the years have built up good relationships with our suppliers to enable us to take advantage of any specials they may offer. We have also decided that we would not advertise in print, radio or television, but rely on word of mouth from our customers. This advertising saving has allowed us to keep our prices lower than most of our competitors. We are a very unique furniture and giftware store, so if possible try to take a few minutes to visit us and experience not only the huge product range we offer, but also to enjoy some old fashioned service.
