My pre-loved and vintage finds this week.

Second-hand hunting is so much fun. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. It takes time and doesn't always deliver what you may have in mind.

It's great to see a revival of op shopping and thrifting. Adding pieces like these add personality and character to a space and have a history and story of their own.

I've been framing some prints this week and experimenting with retail frames rather than using a framer. Mainly so I can switch the prints easily and change the art when I feel like it. But it's been a reminder of how much value a professional framing service brings to each art piece.
Getting the right tone of white, the right sized board and frame to enhance the art is all a skill worth paying for.

Im really happy with how this one turned out, though - I think I got it right! Would look great with a wooden frame, too, but I love how the colours pop xx

In the winter months, I find myself creating little vignette's like this one. If it's a bit dreary outside and home needs a lift, adding a candle and styling a corner can help spark some joy in the day.

Books are a great base for vignettes and are a lovely alternative to a tray, adding depth and interest. A little trick is to hunt through your bookcase and peek under the paper book covers, and you might find a beautiful cover underneath. This is one of my favourites - selvedged from my boys bookshelf. I love the grey and silver font, and it's the perfect size xx

At the moment, Im always on the look out for Raku pottery, crystal glass, anything from the 80's and I get a bit excited if I find anything with a wave xx
