The pieces that make a home yoursā€¦

Art is one of the most powerful ways to give a room personality and tell a story about the people who live there. The right artwork can completely transform a space. It sets the tone, draws the eye and brings everything together in a way that makes a house feel like a home.

This week I went to the Fisher & Paykel Experience Centre for their Mastery of Temperature session and it was such an inspiring morning.

If you are planning a kitchen project, this is definitely worth doing. Their in-house chefs cook for you while walking you through the full range of ovens, cooktops, rangehoods and laundry appliances, so you actually understand what youā€™re investing in before you commit.
Steam, convection, microwave oven, gas or induction cooktop. There really is something for every lifestyle and cooking style in their range, and seeing it all in action makes the decision so much easier for my clients.
Itā€™s a great information session on how much the right appliances can elevate a kitchen not just aesthetically, but functionally too. As a designer, that matters just as much as how beautiful.

I always like to get feedback from clients at the end of a project, not only about how they like the completed spaces, but also about how they found the process.

When Iā€™m working on a project, everything is carefully planned and managed from start to finish. From early concepts through to coordinating suppliers and overseeing installation, every detail is taken care of so my clients donā€™t have to carry that stress themselves.

Often, when working on projects, part of the selection process involves showroom visits with clients.

Seeing and comparing samples in person allows us to consider several options side by side. Itā€™s an effective way to help clients visualise how everything will work together.

From flooring and fabrics to finishes and textures, these visits are an important step in refining selections and ensuring every element works cohesively.

They also create a real sense of excitement for our clients as we move closer to finalising the overall concept.
