This ensuite started as a spare bedroom…

Originally only one bathroom, the client brief included an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The spare bedroom next door was used to create both.

Green subway tiles, caramel toned walls, and a textured wood vanity carry the Scandinavian feel through from the rest of the house.

If there’s a room in your home that isn’t working for you, DM me or get in touch via link in bio and let’s talk about how it could be improved.

Fave Finds…

This week’s showroom find. Tiles with a mix of matt and gloss in soft blue-grey tones. Contemporary and timeless. Definitely going on the options list!

It’s not just about how a space looks, it’s about how it works…

The original layout of this home had the kitchen tucked into the back left corner of the living room, creating a disconnect from the rest of the living and dining. Repositioning the kitchen and dining closer to the back of the house and adding a window and sliding doors out to the deck make the whole area feel more open, and the layout now makes sense for how the space is used day-to-day.

If the layout of your home isn’t quite working for how you live, DM me or get in touch at [email protected] and we can have a chat about how it could be improved.

Before and after...

The old door, with its pale green tone and glass panels, suited the house in its earlier days. Once the exterior was repainted, it needed something bolder. A solid door in a deeper green delivers that. Reeded glass to the side keeps light coming into the entranceway without losing privacy.

A 1930s bungalow, redesigned for how the client lives…

The brief was for soft Scandinavian tones, a calm feel throughout, and a layout that worked with the space available.

The living, dining and kitchen was opened up to make the most of the northern aspect and the garden at the back.

The main bathroom went from a small, cramped layout to a large functional room with a bath, shower and toilet.

The master bedroom was reworked to become a larger space that incorporated an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.

A full renovation that met the client’s needs while still holding onto the character and history of the home.

Eighteen months in the making…

A photo shoot for a full house renovation that started as a concept and is now, finally, a finished home.

This one took eighteen months from the first conversation to completion to give this three-bedroom home a completely new look. I’ll be sharing more about this project soon …

Good design starts before the builders arrive on site.

Small decisions made early save you the cost and disruption of fixing them later .
