This award represents our amazing collaborative clients, a crew of hand-selected top of the shelf Nelson tradespeople, dedicated suppliers who provide great quality products and a Group Home Builder that I am so privileged to work alongside. Every project begins with observation.

Before we selected a single tile, fabric or finish, we stood here and took in the landscape. The blues of the bay. The warmth of the timber. The soft whites of the clouds. The natural textures of the coastal grasses.

Rather than competing with the view, we wanted the home to feel like an extension of it.

We’re incredibly honoured to share that two Durrant Design bathrooms have been named finalists in the TIDA Awards 2026.

To have our work recognised by the industry is something we’re truly grateful for, and it’s a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved through great collaboration.

✨ Atawhai Ensuite
Set overlooking beautiful Atawhai Beach, we worked alongside Mike Greer Homes and our wonderful clients who trusted us with all the finer details of their home. Their enthusiasm throughout the design journey made this project an absolute pleasure from beginning to end.

✨ Milford Main Bathroom
Working alongside Eden Home New Zealand on this renovation has been an absolute privilege. Their team brought the vision to life with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we’re so proud of what we created together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved. Design is never created in isolation, and we’re incredibly grateful for the talented builders, trades and clients who help bring these spaces to life.

Now… we eagerly wait for the winners to be announced in early August 🤍
